Overview:
IMSA is committed to equity and excellence, including the active recruitment of students from all areas of Illinois. IMSA’s Dominican University Chicago PROMISE Program addresses the unique challenges of culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse (CLED) students who have an interest in STEM education by providing academic enrichment programming. This grant-funded program is designed to support Black or African American students, Latinx students, students who qualify for the national free or reduced-price meal program around the Dominican University Chicago Campus. The DU Chicago PROMISE Program consists of two grade-based experiences (fall and spring) serving students 7th -8th grade.
Currently, we are seeking a Science Faculty for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Dominican University Chicago PROMISE Program which serves students currently enrolled in the 7th and 8th grade. The program will run on 6 designated Saturday sessions at IMSA. In this program, instructors will work with students that have varying academic backgrounds.
