Overview

IMSA is seeking a detail-oriented staff member to serve as the IMSA SAT & ACT Test Center Supervisor. The SAT & ACT Test Center Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of test administration, such as managing the test center and team members, secure handling of test materials, and supervising all activities related to testing. IMSA is considered one of a handful of local National Testing Centers.  
 

The SAT & ACT Test Center Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Security of test materials – arranging secure receipt, checking for timely receipt, storing in locked area, ensuring appropriate distribution and collection of materials, packaging and returning materials
  • Selection, supervision and training of testing team – recruiting and selecting diverse team, training testing team, reviewing testing and security procedures with team, assigning and reviewing specific duties with individuals
  • Testing room arrangements – ensuring arrangements for facilities are made in compliance with requirements
  • Testing day – ensuring proper arrangement of facilities and preparation of materials, ensuring compliance with admission and seating requirements, complying with test administration procedures including timing requirements and distribution/collection of materials
  • Administrative follow-up – verifying collection of test materials, completing required forms and reports, organizing return of materials, maintaining appropriate records

Administration of tests will take place on Saturdays throughout the academic year.  The SAT & ACT Test Center Supervisor is responsible for all preparation and follow-up work as well as direct supervision on each of the Saturdays.

 

The SAT & ACT Test Center Supervisor will report to the Dean of Student Support and Equity. Compensation for this position will be a stipend $3000.00. This position is not benefits eligible.
