The Chief Business and Operations Officer will oversee our organization's operations and procedures to ensure we are operating efficiently and in compliance with state guidelines, and also equipped to advance the institution’s strategic priorities. The Business Office, Facilities and Capital Planning, Technology Systems, Compliance and Nutrition Services report to the Chief Business and Operations Officer. The position may also include supervision of Human Resources, should the candidate have necessary qualifications. The Chief Business and Operations Officer reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. As a member of the Cabinet, the Chief Business and Operations Officer will help advance our strategic priorities described in IMSA 2033: Elevating IMSA Everywhere, which involves engaging cross-department teams.
Hours/Shift/Work Schedule: As an exempt employee, the incumbent is expected to work the necessary schedule to successfully complete the requirements of the position; typically, M - F 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M, with some evening and weekend hours.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This leadership position is a full-time, exempt, 12-month, employment-at-will position. Salary regionally commensurate with training and experience in like-institutions with a range of $130,000 to $192,000. IMSA offers a comprehensive state benefits package (major medical, dental, vision, and prescription) with rates found here, a generous paid time off plan, and a retirement plan through the State University Retirement System (SURS). SURS is reciprocal with other Illinois public retirement systems such as the Teachers’ Retirement System of Illinois (TRS) and the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
