IMSA is actively seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Mechanic, This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, minor construction, assisting with HVAC systems, and snow removal across the campus. This position reports to and is evaluated by the Facilities Operations Manager.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The position of Second Shift Maintenance Mechanic is a full-time, 12-month, employment-at-will position. Beginning hourly rate is $21.30. The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement benefits with the State University Retirement System. The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) is reciprocal with other Illinois public retirement systems such as the Teachers’ Retirement System of Illinois (TRS) and the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
